About

I'm Tadeh, a backend software engineer in Sunnyvale. I like systems that are simple to reason about and hard to break.

I studied computer science at UCLA, then spent two years at Walmart Global Tech building a GenAI developer assistant: a Python/Flask platform with pluggable LLMs, a RAG chatbot for Slack, and a Java embedding service on Milvus that kept its knowledge fresh.

Now I'm a contract backend and AI engineer at CTSS, where I built the pipeline that ingests, de-duplicates and classifies job leads with Claude, then routes them to subscribers. The hard parts of shipping LLM features turn out to be mostly backend problems: data quality, latency, cost, and knowing whether a change made things better. This site is where I write about that.

Experience

  1. Software Engineer, Backend & AI (Contract) · CTSS

    Dec 2025 – now

Built the lead ingestion pipeline for a home-services marketplace: Python collectors normalize and de-duplicate leads into Postgres on AWS, Claude classifies them by trade and area, and matching logic routes them to subscribers.

  2. Software Engineer II · Walmart Global Tech

    Aug 2023 – Aug 2025

Led development of a company-wide GenAI developer assistant. Built a RAG chatbot for Slack serving 20,000+ engineers and a Java/Milvus embedding service that auto-refreshes from distributed sources.

  3. Software Engineer Intern · Endress+Hauser

    Jun – Sep 2022

Built automated test frameworks in C++ and C# for laser spectrometers, cutting bug detection time by 90%, and set up remote test fixtures for the device team.

  4. B.S. Computer Science · UCLA

    2019 – 2023

Coursework in operating systems, machine learning, AI, computer vision and graphics.
